Nature and Wildlife Photographer. Wildlife photography is not about wildlife alone. It is so much more. It is about light and rain, textures and colours, grasslands and mountains. I believe it is all of these elements that ultimately infuse soul and spirit into an image. For me, a good photograph freezes a moment but tells the story of a journey. I come from humble beginnings. I spent my childhood years in the southern state of peninsular India Kerala, also fondly known as God's own country. For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by lush landscapes, abundant in wildlife and steeped in culture. But I found my love and respect for wildlife much later, and I have photography to thank for that. Photography opened my eyes to that which was always around but never truly seen. Respect for all life forms, big and small, appreciation for nature and a newfound meaning of coexistence started taking shape.Starting out with a basic camera to today being a Nikon Ambassador, the journey has been challenging, life-altering. I feel humbled to have my work awarded and published on prestigious platforms. But the greatest satisfaction for me comes from teaching this art to others. Today I teach this art to aspiring photographers and in a small way, hope to make a difference just as photography made a difference to the way I viewed the world. Beauty is all around us. Through my photos, I am trying to tell the jungle stories and connect people to the nature. After all, stories move people and sometimes they even change them.
